5.0 out of 5 stars Good background and overview
A good background and overview for those not familiar with just what the FBI and other law enforcement agencies do.

Clearly written and very useful information to familiarize yourself with the FBI and it's function in government. Not sure what the other reviewer expected frrom this book, but it delivers exactly what it promises.

1.0 out of 5 stars A fourth-grade reader with no pertinent information.
Kronenwetter has authored a beginner book appropriately written in LARGE print for younger readers. The book pertains mostly to the FBI and gives a nod to the Secret Service. Information relevant to these two agencies is limited, outdated, and of little or no use to someone looking for in-depth and insightful information on these well-known and well-respected agencies...

Kronenwetter has authored a beginner book appropriately written in LARGE print for younger readers. The book pertains mostly to the FBI and gives a nod to the Secret Service. Information relevant to these two agencies is limited, outdated, and of little or no use to someone looking for in-depth and insightful information on these well-known and well-respected agencies. IRS CID, DEA, ATF, and the Coast Guard are mentioned but no relevant information is offered to the reader so that they might better understand the enforcement mission, jurisdiciton, agent background, training, or history of these agencies. The reader is better off spending money on long distance calls directly to Federal Law Enforcement agencies and requesting a tri-fold brochure for more voluminous information.
