Not weatherproof,

This item was listed by Smarthome as a gate keypad. When I received the keypad it just didn't look weatherproof I called the manufacture to check. My suspicion was confirmed not weatherproof. The physical size was just slightly too big to fit into a 2 gang outdoor weatherproof outlet cover. Smart home did accept the item back since it was listed as a gate controller it should imply weather resistant.
