2 great classic stories,
By "tmh72" (Broken Arrow, OK United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Engaging The Enemy (Mass Market Paperback)
These are reprints of earlier category romance novels. Both are very good. Both feature slightly antagonistic relationships where the hero and heroine start at as enemies. Nora Roberts is especially good at the volatile chemistry between these kinds of couples. The first book, A Will and a Way forces 2 people to stay in a mansion together to win an inheritance. Despite the fact that the heroine is named Pandora, this is a very good story. It has a slight bit of suspense as the other relatives try to force them out of the mansion so they lose the inheritance. The second book, Boundary Lines, is also very good. Jillian inherits her grandfather's ranch and tries to keep feuding with Aaron Murdock. This novel also features a slight bit of suspense, however the chemistry between the two main characters is what makes this story shine! These are both good light reading, perfect for summer.

Amazon Romance book of the year???,
This review is from: Engaging The Enemy (Mass Market Paperback)
Nora's Silhouette books were book quick reads, but I find it so strange to come in and see this as amazon's top pick for romance for the year - shocked might be a better word - for two four star reprints of little books!!
I am not knocking Nora, for I have 75% of everything she has written. But THESE ARE REPRINTS! And they are charging this HIGH PRICE because its NORA's name on the cover. Sorry, I get this feeling of SUCKER on my face when I pick one of these up and get home and find I already had them from years ago and paid a LOT LESS!!! Nora Roberts is a super writer. Just stop re-canvasing these old puppies just she and her publisher can keep milking her fans and pretend they are something special. These are good reads - IF YOU DON'T AlREADY have them. A Will and a Way (Silhouette Special Edition #345) (Please note readers ONLY gave the 4 stars first time around!!!!!!!!!)Uncle Jolley's has Pandora McVie tied and she cannot change it. She has to spend six months isolated in the Catskills with Michael Donahue, her least favourite-though best looking-distant relative and co-beneficiary. The Second tale is Boundary Lines (Nr Flowers Ser.: No. 47)again ONLY 4 stars - the feud between the Barons and the Murdocks spanned generations... Jillian Baron and Aaron Murdock seem determined to carry it into another one. Sorry, these are Silhouette SMALL books that are reprints. That is NOT a book of the year. If you like Nora and want to read everything she has done, fine. But you just paid $7.50 for books they were only a couple bucks each and nothing special back then. Sorry for the soap box, but it's a shame this hoax is being fostered on the book buyers. GO CHECK YOUR OLD SILHOUETTES, you likely already have them if your a Nora fan.

Another Nora Roberts' Classic,
By destiny morna "destiny21" (louisiana) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Engaging The Enemy (Mass Market Paperback)
This book features two of Nora Robert's older romance novels but they still show why she is such a great writer. Both novels start out with the hero and heroine on opposite sides facing danger and predictably end up with them both falling for each other.A will and A Way- features Michael and Pandora, two people who are given a fortune by their recently departed relative. Unfortunately, there is a catch- they have to reside in the mansion together for 6 months to claim their inheritance. Sounds easy! But Michael and Pandora have always been at odds since they were teens and their jealous other relatives (who want their inheritance) try to make them leave the mansion and forfeit their claim. Boundary Lines- Jillian and Aaron are neighboring ranchers who must battle the dangers of ranching while some unknown people who are stealing their cattle. Jillian, of course, thinks its Aaron and that fact is heightened by the fact that their two families are lifelong enemies. Both novels are great summer reads- Enjoy
