Englehard Bars carry a premium above all other bullion in Gold or Silver, not that there is anything wrong with non-name brand. Most any bar in the USA is fine to purchase and/or sell at going rates, Englehard and Johnson Matthey are like a brand name that is better know the "smaller" US mints, especially popular in Asia where a lot of counterfeit and questionable products are offered for sale. With the heavy Asian buying, silver could very well rise to above a $100.00 an ounce. I am writing this review because I am a promoter of precious metals, and not a believer in paper stocks and stockbrokers.....how many banks almost collapsed in the last few years ? Silver and Gold has never been worth Zero.

Cause I always wanted a silver bar, and now I have one. I am going to put it away and keep it always. To show my kids and maybe theirs.

Not the cheapest price but not bad. Bar was claen and in great shape. Englehard is the premium brand in silver.
