Anyone working in the Developing World sometimes needs some advice. The solutions offered in this book cover a wide range of subjects and they are practical and very well illustrated. Do not be intimidated by the "engineering" in this book, it's mostly common sense and useful tables.I would strongly recommend this book as a reference for aid and develpment workers everywhere for low tech solutions to problems they will encounter.

This book is ideal for people working in developing areas. It's a one stop reference guide to pretty much everything.
