3.0 out of 5 stars Need's example problems
This book covers the material well, but it doesn't provide any worked example problems that display the application of equations or techniques. Any book intended to be a text book for engineering students should provide numerous worked example problems for students. The worked problems are a much better refresher for future reference than rereading the text.

Realizing that there is a certain logical behavior to materials behavior, which may be understood on very intuitive physical terms. So for that reason I recommend this to other students. I may be biased because things started to make sense to me after this book, and I don't know how much of that to attribute to the books writing, but I attribute a lot.
