Bob Cahill's "Witches and Wizards" is the first in his collectible series of New England history booklets. At 48 pages in length, it goes into a little piece of some different tales in New England Witchcraft historical folklore. Here you can read snippets about Isaac Cummings (and his "cursed mare"), Goody Glover (the Irish witch), William Phips (governor of MA during the Salem Witch Trials), Giles Corey, Phineas Gage (the man who survived many years with a crowbar-sized hole in his head), Molly Pitcher, and a host of other characters (including many falsely-accused witches).
This is a short read for anyone who appreciates New England history and folklore. While the stories are interesting and well-researched, numerous typos and it's characteristically short reading make this booklet a starting point for learning about what went on with various purported "witches and wizards" in Colonial New England rather than a complete treatise in and of itself.
