English in action serves as a great tool for teaching novice-intermediate level English to students. It is both practical for teaching English and intentional in bible storying. The teacher's manual is a great companion and tool for volunteer teachers and trained ESL instructors. My students enjoy the laughter which comes from using the TPR approach to learning. As a result, community is built within the group and fosters increased learning. We have incorporated prayer at the end of class as well and watched God's promises from the stories become promises to us.
