My husband and I both found this to be an excellent translation book. We are volunteers through Catholic Family Service and are currently helping 25 Kosova refuges. It has come in very handy while in the emergency room with one of the children. It also is very handy when trying to explain conditions. (Tornados, storms, snow) This book is our life line for many of these refuges. We do not have a translator available for our area. This book IS our translator. I recommend this book to any one who may be in a similar situation.

I love this book - well, as much as you can love a dictionary! While you do need to know some Albanian in order to fully utilize it, it has been extremely valuable during my course work and really is "comprehensive." Much better for general use than the Oxford English-Albanian dictionary as that tends more towards northern dialects.

I feel that you have to speak English and Albanian fully in order for this book to be of any use to you. And of course you don't know this until after you buy the thing and if you did fully understand both languages, you wouldn't even need the book. If you only speak English then you'll have my problem, and if you only speak Albanian, would you even know how to look up a word in English?

I expected to look up any English word and find the Albanian translation. Well, it does that, but when one English word has so many Albanian words that are related, how are you supposed to know which Albanian word to use. Sometimes it tells you, but usually I find myself flipping a coin. I find this book to be useless

This book is great, I'm helping my boyfriend learn English (he's from Kosovo), and often there are words I just don't know how to explain. With this book I can look them up and he reads the definition. Almost imediately he understands. And it has more than one definition for each word which is really helpful... A great find!!
