Comments: 1) the fry pans suck at non-stick especially with scrambled eggs, the eggs stick like no tomorrow!

I have these pans, some don't work as good now because family members didn't treat properly.

We received a set of the cookware as a gift. They worked fine the first few uses, however the non-stick coating vanished soon after. The cookware essentially became food magnets. We threw them out after no more than ten uses. Friends who had the same cookware have thrown them out too. Save your money and stay far, far away from these.

Todd English, I doubt you've ever used the cookware and you should be ashamed to put your name on them. If you had, I bet your set would be in the garbage along with the rest of ours.

This frying pan harbors a secret superpower that does not manifest until after the first few uses. During the first few uses, you will marvel at the nonstickatude of this pan. "Is the egg even touching the pan?!" you will ask yourself. You will call friends and family members over to the stove to witness the incredible nonstick power of your new pan. You will wash it lovingly, according to the directions, because this is nonstick power that deserves to be well cared for! It's AMAZING!

Then, right around Use Five, the pan, completely of its own volition, becomes OPPOSITE Todd English Hard Anodized by GreenPan (OTEHAGP) pan. Just like that, everything sticks, and sticks to such an extreme that soaking and scrubbing will not remove the residue. It's quite a stunning turn-around from your first few experiences. In fact, it's so stunning that it will probably take you several weeks to move through the Stages of WTH regarding your OTEHAGP pan. Stage One: astonishment ("But it was SO AMAZING the first few times I used it! This can't be happening!"). Stage Two: befuddled inertia ("I must be cleaning it wrong. I guess I'll just hang onto it and soak it a few more times. This can't be happening."). Stage Three: dawning realization that you have likely ingested whatever it was that made the pan so nonstick to begin with, and accompanying health concerns, since that substance is obviously no longer attached to the pan ("Oh, gawd, I wonder if I should see a doctor. Maybe a juice cleanse? This can't be happening.").

I'm happy to say that I have finally moved to Stage Four: deciding whether or not to inflict this pan on the kind folks at Goodwill. It feels good to be in a place where I'm finally able to let go.

We also bought this set from HSN in the summer of 2009. At 1st we were pleased, and we followed the initial seasoning directions to the letter. Comments:
1) the fry pans suck at non-stick especially with scrambled eggs, the eggs stick like no tomorrow! Horrible performance
2) The fry pan & sauce pot handles fill with water when washed, and upon hanging them on the overhead rack leak water all over the place- a terrible engineering design
3) the oval fry pan seemed like a good idea on TV, but the reality is there is no burner that it will fully fit onto; and despite the claims it does not heat the outer edges to the same degree as the center. Plus, there is no lid for it.

We still have the set but would never buy anything with Todd English's name on it again.

Todd is just plain greedy! Another money maker for him when he knew those horrible pans were not at all what he claimed them to be! In this economy people just don't have money to burn. We could have ALL put the money to much better use such as groceries to feed our families! Todd with all your money you are still money hungry and should be ashamed of yourself!! I too have these pans and the first time I tried to fry an egg it stuck so bad I had to throw away the egg! Another giving them a second chance they are, getting brown and have been cooked on low heat to no more than medium... Todd' you should be refunding everyone who bought these pans their hard earned money back!! This is just absurd and they were not cheap!! I really need to call the BBB right after I finish writing this.

The first 2-3 weeks pans were great. Afterwards, The sauce pans were sticky on every meal, no matter what I cook(with slow hear) The pots the same, I regret investing in Todd English and do not buy it- The pots are no different and after cooking you can not wash it, I had to throw them away- worst pots I have ever used.

I don't understand the person who says they threw the pans away - these pans are great! Did you season them as the instructions told you too?
I highly recommend these pans - I have actually tossed and given away my old cookware since I purchased the intial set of these pans and I have added to the set 3-4 times now. LOVE these pans

These pans work great, and clean easily, if you follow directions for initial use and continue cleaning using no abrasive cleansers, pads, tools etc as directed. We are so used to needing to use a scrubbing pad. We tend to not follow instructions for first use. We use scrubbing pads of all types of materials figuring it won't hurt the pans. Make it simple. Cure the pan when you get it as directed, only clean with soap and water, damp cloth. I have these pans, some don't work as good now because family members didn't treat properly. Now, everyone knows how to take care of them and loving the ease of cooking and simple, easy clean up.
