Format: Hardcover
This and the other 12 volumes in the massive series are an indispensable tool for all those researching English History from its Anglo-Saxon beginnings until1914. Here are all the major documents, statutes, letters, treaties of any given period. Each volume is about 1000 pages long, and though quite expensive is a treasure trove. Some volumes are much more pricey than others and it is worth shopping around to get a good deal. My preference is for the second edition of the first volume as the original was published in 1953
