Lots of errors,

There are a lot of errors in this dictionary. Many of them are taken from the older missionary dictionaries. And the spelling is hard to read. If you are serious about learning Lakota, the only truly reliable dictionary is the New Lakota Dictionary.

This is a good book, but I find it to be at odds with many other sources of Lakota linguistics. Many traditional terms and spellings are simply missing, and I think that my ancestors would not be generally impressed. I received it as a gift, and appreciate the work that went into it, but their are other more comprehensive choices.
