I remember taking allowance money as a kid to send away for this album (if you remember mail order). Years later when I was getting the absolute final reminants of my childhood from my parent's home I asked my mom about the album, 'you know mom, the one with the English flag on the cover' and her response was 'your brother took it, he said it was his'. Oh well I guess I couldn't really blame him. I kept it in the back of my mind to search Amazon every so often for the album and, score, I found a copy in great condition for sale. I am so happy to have this album back in my vinyl collection! For me music identifies where I was and what I was doing in my life when a song was popular. This is one of those albums that has such great songs you heard on the radio. It should have made it onto CD along the way.

As a child of the 70's, this album was a huge hit in our house. My siblings and I have many fond memories of this music. Our mother had an enormous record collection so we grew up with all kinds of music ranging from folk and rock to opera. One of our favorite rock albums was English Cats and Others. We knew and loved all the songs. It's too bad it never made it to CD form. I know several people who would be happy.
