Assumes user will be visiting the United States instead of living here. Too much emphasis on hotels and street names, and too repetitive. My wife is an immigrant and she found it very boring and useless.

This is for the anyone just begining to learn english. It has basic pronunciation and lessions for the beginner.

I was pleased with Amazon's rapid shipping, as usual. The difference this time was the need for a replacement, as this came with mislabelled disks. I had never needed to use Amazon's return/replacement process before, so I was a bit ambivalent. As most websites return policies are poor, at best, I have always worked under the assumption that Amazon's was no different. I was pleasantly surprised. Amazon emailed me a return label, postage paid, and I had a replacement delivered faster than the original! I purchase many (several dozen in the past year) items from Amazon, and this is the first time I have had a problem. I was VERY happy with Amazon's rapid response and resolution.

While I do not speak Russian, I have had good success with the Pimsleur language programs in the past. I am certain that this program is as good.
