About the Author

Sydney A. Halpern is Assistant Professor of Sociology at the University of Illinois, Chicago.

Diane F. Halpern is Director of the Berger Institute for Work, Family, and Children and Chair and Professor of Psychology at Claremont McKenna College. She received her PhD in Psychology at the University of Cincinnati where she received the Distinguished Alumna Award in 2003. Dr Halpern was the President of the American Psychological Association in 2005. --This text refers to the Hardcover edition.
