Enheartenment, by DS Barron, offers a complete reformulation of spiritual, therapeutic, philosophical, ethical, and religious paradigms and belief systems of the last 2500 years. In this work, Barron offers a meta-model called Theohumanity that defines the criteria for human emotional and spiritual maturity for the first time in history, and in doing so exposes the emotional-based distortions of essentially every system of thought in human history. With emotional maturity as a foundation and pre-requisite for all other growth, Barron offers an unprecedented path for healing and the embodiment of what he calls "the divine human."

From the Author

Premises of Theohumanity as discussed in Enheartenment, by Daniel Barron.

1.  The most mature state of spiritual maturity cannot be attained by means of any past or present spiritual paradigm or path alone; occurs only through the healing of fear at the level of the Heart and not through belief, transcendence, faith, or works; and requires a prior foundation of authentically embodied emotional maturity.

2.  A state of emotional maturity cannot be attained by means of any traditional or modern psychotherapeutic paradigm or methodology alone, and requires the deconstruction of the strategic versions of ourselves we identify with and experience as our present self.

3. Human morality and ethics are only and ever measurable at the level of unconscious motivation, and not at the level of any intention, action, or outcome.

4.  What we have called God is comprised of Allness, Nondual, and Maker Aspects of Being.

5.  The cause of all human suffering comes from three unconscious root-sources: the Terror of Being, (the unconscious fear of emotional unworth & energetic disconnect from human life); the Terror of Not-Being, (the unconscious fear of death or loss of personal ego and its attachments and identifications); and the Terror of Non-Being, (the unconscious fear of retaining personal consciousness but surrendering personal will, growth requirements, and life outcomes to an unseen Maker-Creator Being.)

6.  Enheartenment, the most mature state of human consciousness, is attained only by the triple embodiment of the states of Personhood, Sagehood, and Sainthood consciousness within one incarnative chapter of life.

7. The Heart of Personhood consciousness is attained by healing the unconscious fears of ego maturation in the form of emotional body conflict and congestion via Somati-based enlightenment of the emotional body through the practice of Emotional Body Enlightenment (EBE).

8. The Heart of Sagehood consciousness is attained by healing the unconscious fear of ego obliteration via Satori-based enlightenment of the mental body through the practice of radical Self-inquiry and Avrassanic/vipassanic meditative discipline.

9. The Heart of Sainthood consciousness is attained by healing the unconscious fears of ego capitulation to the Allness and Maker-Creator Aspects of God via Samadhi-based enlightenment of our etheric or chakral bodies through the practice of contemplation of silence, resonant prayer, & heartfelt surrender of personal power and all outcomes of life to Its Will. --This text refers to an alternate Paperback edition.

From the Back Cover

"Traditional and modern transcendental teachings that offer that you must come from Being and not personality exhort you to untie the self-knot of suffering, teach you not to give credence or attention to your personal ego-based scripts and narratives, or simply say to just let it all go, only address the shallow symptoms of our suffering and not its true causes. In that way, they trumpet their own ignorance of the architecture of the human soul, and openly display no understanding of how emotionally maturity changes what we call true spirituality. Such teachings blindly lead millions of followers into immature and false forms of bliss, serenity, and heart-peace which will always be fear-based drugs created by the transcendence of suffering rather than through its actual healing.

We only overattach to aspects of life that we heartfully under-inhabit: healthy inhabitation of human life naturally allows a shedding of all of our attachments. So to prescribe transcendence of dualistic human life as a solution to overattachment of all kinds is the tragic opposite of what is needed and only makes the overattachments go underground where they unconsciously poison and limit one's enlightenment.

Real spirituality is an active, heart-rendering effort to work our fears through to their unconscious sources within us to heal them, not just obliterate them into a nondual Ground of Being, take them to a higher vibration, melt them into some magic new age landscape, sit passively as audience to them or wait to have life trigger them up for us. Abiding with the Living God requires us to proactively peel away the layers of fear that keep us from hearing the music that goes with that relationship. Until we do, we're tone-deaf to Maker's Melody of Spirit that draws us into the Dance of the Divine.

In that way, grace is what we create as we heal enough of our fear to encounter the Living God at the root of our human being. As that inner state is created, it links to the outer state of Its Grace in the pulsating flowbeat of life. That bridging from inner to outer is the only path to the Love of which all creation is made, and to the embodiment of our humanity as our truest Divine Being."

More About the Author

After his Nondual awakening in the tradition of Zen Buddhism in the 1980's, Daniel Barron realized almost all distortions and misunderstandings in psychological and spiritual teachings involved how neither ego-based nor non-ego-based paths that address the cause of suffering adequately understand the true nature and significance of the human emotional body.

As a result, Barron created an overall paradigm and personal practice for the enlightenment of the human emotional body called Emotional Body Enlightenment (EBE) that challenges 100 years of psychological premise and practice, and a new spiritual paradigm called Theohumanity that challenges 5000 years of eastern transcendental teaching about the criteria for attaining enlightenment, western models of what we call God, and the nature of Universal Oneness and Love.

Barron is founder of Project Theohumanity, and author of Enheartenment, Him, Gnospel, There's no such thing as a negative emotion, Heartbound, the Soil and the Seed, Doorway to the Dance and the theatrical play, Josie. Barron offers weeklong retreats, weekend teaching seminars, and individual healing sessions.

".......it is now that time in history for both western revelatory-based and eastern ego transcendence-based spiritual systems to see that their time in our evolution of consciousness is over, as both demonize the self's journey through flesh-expression in profound and limiting ways. It is now time for a humanistic-based spirituality that teaches us how to live into our humanity as divine in itself within new paradigmatic guidelines of self-discovery whose authority lies within the human heart and not without."

5.0 out of 5 stars Quite Simply, the Most Comprehensive View of Reality Available, June 20, 2011

Enheartenment is not light reading. It is dense with concepts that challenge one's picture of how one presently holds reality at nearly every page, and in doing so brings together under its comprehensive view every spiritual, philosophical, and humanistic expression in human history as non-contradictory while still fully expressive. It is unbelievable yet here it is, found in the pages of this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Timely Delivery, June 1, 2011
Daniel Barron has outlined his paradigm of Theohumanity in this text of the ages. This book is a timely delivery of a radical new paradigm that brings together the 3 hitherto non-compatible domains of our personal everyday emotional lives, non-duality and our love of God. Daniel has managed to dovetail each of these huge domains in life in a way that allows me to be the sacred humanness that I am, to the fullest soul expression possible in each moment of my day.

I'm stoked, I love this book! It opens up areas of life I had thought about but wouldn't work and it opens up areas in me that I never knew existed.

This is a text of the future, here today for all of us to share.

Along with Barron's other books, this work has changed my life, how I understand healing, my life in the context of a soul's journey and so so much more. For anyone who has searched and found partial truths and inspiring teachers who's personal lives were not so, I recommend ordering a copy of one of these books.
