5.0 out of 5 stars This is classic Roseanne
I thought this recording was very entertaining. The first and last tracks I can do without, but overall this was classic Roseanne stand up from back in the day when her show was running in the 80's. It could've been longer is the only negative I can think of. If you're a fan of the hit television show, "Roseanne", you may be in for a rude awakening I should warn you...

3.0 out of 5 stars I bought this for 99 cents.
This is a recording a live performance by Roseanne, although the first and last tracks are not from that show. The album opens with a fake commercial for a compilation album featuring every comedian in the history of comedy. It's pretty funny. Then we have the live performance, in edited form. Roseanne sings a few songs (badly), tells a few old jokes and some new ones...

The album opens with a fake commercial for a compilation album featuring every comedian in the history of comedy. It's pretty funny. Then we have the live performance, in edited form. Roseanne sings a few songs (badly), tells a few old jokes and some new ones too. Most of it is funny, especially when she talks about the differences between the sexes. The album closes with Roseanne's godawful rendition of the classic song, "I Enjoy Being a Girl". Roseanne's fans should enjoy the album, which you can probably find really cheap.

It could've been longer is the only negative I can think of. If you're a fan of the hit television show, "Roseanne", you may be in for a rude awakening I should warn you. This is laced with very adult material and foul language. It doesn't bother me, but may bother you if you have fainter ears. Her stand up before she got her television show was along those lines of Andrew Dice Clay and Sam Kinneson. She was a lot like the male comics which also got her noticed by networks.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Buying Experience, November 18, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

I bought this on a fluke. I looked for it but didn't think I would find it. I found it purchased it and, within days (shorter than I expected), it was at my doorstep! It is in EXCELLENT condition considering I bought it used. Plays like a dream. I didn't have to address any problems with the seller so I can't say that their customer service is good or bad, BUT....I can say that they make good on their word and ship fast and they list their products accurately! :)

Very disappointing. Expecting a routine like I've seen on TV specials. Not any thing close. Vulgar and not funny.
