Being a professionnal conductor-arranger-composer for 40 years now, I can appreciate the unique quality of Morricone's work. This concert is something to have in everyone's home, a treasure of beauty. Even for a former Commercial Pilot like me who never really quit music for a venture in the sky.

I am from Europe too, but I know the difference between PAL and NTSC :-) OK, what we become in this 1 DVD + 2 CD box is a touch with Maestro's music from year 2007 from beautiful Venice at the night ... pictures from Venice colored with Morricone's music .. you get the best-known pieces from his work for cinema .. the usual classics. And you get some not so usual titles (Vatel f.e.). Perfect music, perfect orchestra, perfect sound, perfect place (Square of Holy Marco .. place, where began legendary Marco Polo adventures - do you know Morricone's wonderful music for the TV-Series "Marco Polo", directed by Giulano Montaldo? If not, get for it as soon as possible...). Sometimes close the circle magic up, on places, where mysteries and adventures just begins ... and where the endless stories fly to the heaven full of night with unforgettable music .. Thank you, Maestro, you deserve not less than 5 stars.

I have not seen A better classic concert. The atmosphere is unique. Themes are part of the greatest movies and everyone's life.

Morricone is a master...there is no need for more reviews.
