What can I say, it does its job of peeling off the layer of dead skin.

Two things I like about peeling gel as opposed to regular exfoliator are:

1. I can actually see the outermost layer and its dead skin cells come off (it's a very direct and strong indicator of how well this product actually works!)
Also, since I can see the dead skin layer being washed off, my face feels more fresh and clean than it does after using exfoliating scrub products.

2. I have pretty sensitive skin and using scrubs can sometimes be painful. But this peeling gel doesn't leave it feeling so irritated and "scratched."

But I'm not the biggest fan of the odd scent that this product has (it's not bad, I just don't like how Aloe smells) and that's why I'm giving it four stars.

This scrub is very gentle feeling. You can hardly feel the abrasive ingredient in the gel because it's so fine (feels like lotion), yet you can FEEL and SEE the dead skin rolling off. I wash my face in the shower, then use a small amount and rub gently for about a minute. I use it twice weekly to get rid of flakes and dull skin. My skin is left dewy, clean and refreshed after using this product. I've noticed my Retin-A and skin lotion also penetrate better since it is no longer blocked by dead, flaky skin. I will never use another scrub again. I've tried St Ives, Neutrogena, Clinique, Shiseido, etc. - pretty much all the brands. This one is totally different and I highly recommend it.
