The rock band "Plebe Rude" was one of the most influential rock bands from mid 80s through early 90s in Brazil, a period that saw a huge explosion in the number of rock bands, and is possibly the most rich in Brazilian rock so far.

Started in Brasilia, at one point time dubbed Federal Capital of Rock for the number of nation-wide famous rock bands born there, at a time where Brazil was leaving behind the military influence over the government and transitioning from an indirect presidential election, virtual two-party systems to a direct election multiparty system, their lyrics are a mix of teenager anger and confusion with social themes.

As time passed, so did mature the band's themes. As the lyrics got more complex, the music more sophisticated, and the social turbulence that created that musical movement waned, so did wane the band's popularity, though not, by any means, the quality of their music.

"Enquanto a Tregua Nao Vem" has all of the band's major hits. In fact, most of the disk are hits of this once very popular band. It does not, however, bring anything new.

For the "Plebe Rude" fans this is a must-have disk, as it is for those who would like to explore the music scenary of that very important period in Brazilian life and music.
