5.0 out of 5 stars Enrique ~ Enrique Iglesias
I remember the day when my sister brought his tape two years ago. Actually the reason I ask my sister to buy his songs
because I saw some of his albums on television. When I first hear his music I began to like so much that I asked my sister to his album. Where it was in a cassette or in a compact disc (cd).
But I actually I got his songs in a cassette. When...

3.0 out of 5 stars The sins of the father visited upon the son....
When your father is Julio Iglesias, Latin crooner and sex-god to many a middle-aged housewife, the comparisons are inevitable. But Enrique's ballads, whether on purpose or not, sound scarily like his father. Shut your eyes and you could be at a Julio concert - without the screaming 50-year-olds.

because I saw some of his albums on television. When I first hear his music I began to like so much that I asked my sister to his album. Where it was in a cassette or in a compact disc (cd).
But I actually I got his songs in a cassette. When ever I hear his songs I find it very pleasing and romantic. Other good thing about him is that his always adds very good tunes for his music which I find it pleasing to hear.
I really am a big fan of him. I really like all his music and I feel that he is best latin pop singer when in this century.

Thank You
from Sunita

Great Australian Limietd Edition which has, in the original album with 14 tracks, a bonus CD with 10 tracks, remix versions of Be With You, Rhythm Divine and Bailamos. Can not stand the sound of this bonus remix CD. Item scarce and highly recommended for lovers of good dance music!

3.0 out of 5 stars The sins of the father visited upon the son...., July 9, 2002

Enrique's first foray into English-language singing is a mix of the familiar radio-friendly dance-pop, with some ballads and the eerie Chris Isaak-esque "Sad Eyes". This track was written by Bruce Springsteen, and is very much non-Latino - at least the English version is. Three of the tracks, including "Sad Eyes", are repeated in Spanish.
The advertised bonus disc ("Definitive Dance Remix Disc... over one hour of bonus music") sees "Rhythm Divine" and "Be With You" remixed four times each, which gets pretty boring.
If you've never heard Julio Iglesias' music, and like what you've heard on the radio of Enrique, then this is the CD for you. But if you've been force-fed a steady diet of Julio since before you can remember, most of the non-radio tracks are an all-too-scary reminder of the kind of music you swore you would never choose to listen to as an adult.
