I bought this book not knowing anything about the author. I just picked it up to have something to read. I couldn't put it down. The main character, Mickey, is so evil it's really hard to imagine. You can't wait to read what happens next, as well as dread to read about it!
Claire and her lover, the handsome and rich Dr. Black, are just as interesting, but not nearly as creepy!

Wow. I have read all three of the books available on Kindle and they are fabulous! Great character development and great story line. Even though I now hate reading paper books (I have embraced the digital age) I have ordered the paperbook of the first one in the series!! Great read and can't wait for more in this series!!

I thought the story was great, I wasnt sure how it was going to turn out. The author left several characters open as suspects, I was surprised who it turned out to be. The ending was a little dissapointing but it was still very good.

I read this book so fast , I couldn't put it down. Linda Ladd is among the best of the best. I can only wonder where she gets her ideas. I really like Claire Morgan and her sarcastic attitude. I can't wait for the next book to come out. She can't write fast enough to suit me. This book sort of left you hanging at the end. I would have felt a little better if Thomas had been found dead but I'm wondering if he will be popping up in the next book of murder and mayham. I will be watching closely for that next book.

I've read over 25 mystery-thriller books this year because they're my favorite but this was quite possibly the worst mystery I have EVER read! It was long and drawn out with no connection to the characters. Enter evil was extremely poorly explained. It leaves numerous things unanswered. The worst part is that I continued to read this book hoping for a good ending but that didn't happen either. It was a boring Unsatisfying ending that gave little closure to the book. Save yourself the time and money just get a different book.
