4.0 out of 5 stars Would be a great date movie July 14, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
With Enter Sandman, Michael Edward gets you right into the action, delivering a hard-hitting, if not sometimes brutal tale about a group teenagers who dare test a superstition by signing their names to a wall out in the middle of the woods. All you-know-what breaks loose when they do, unleashing a powerful creature who immediately begins to hunt them like cattle. Once the screaming starts it doesn't stop, and Enter Sandman quickly becomes a teenaged horror movie lover's dream. If there was a book that could be described as a great "date movie", then Enter Sandman is it. Thankfully, judging by the rather unique approach put forth in the book's final pages, there is more to come. I'm definitely curious to see they have planned!

3.0 out of 5 stars Well written May 19, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
The author did a good job of showing the reader through words the fear of the main characters. Not to my taste but not a bad book.

The premise of the story is interesting, but the writing is terrible. For starters, it is written in the present tense, which is distracting. Read more

This book kept my interest throughout. The end was kind of blah. I guess I was surprised it ended when it did. But it was a good read.

2.0 out of 5 stars Teen stuff
It is a typical teen stuff where kids are damned for one reason or another... not much of a story development.

More About the Author

I am Michael Edward, a husband, a father of six, a friend, and a self-proclaimed storyteller. I say storyteller because to use the word writer would be a misrepresentation, it might imply that I can write. I have always felt that my imagination was my strength and I always see everything as a movie. A lot of times when I write, its like I am sitting in a movie theater watching it on screen and I just write down what I see with the words that I know.

I love to write screenplays and that bleeds into my writing style. Also, I have epilepsy, and my seizures have increased, so if they bleed into the writing I apologize. I just want to tell entertaining stories that give people a chance to escape reality for a bit. I mean no disrespect to writers.

I am currently working on The Beginning On The End: Book Five and Book Six, Enter Sandman 3, Fearlings Four and will make them available as soon as they are completed.

I appreciate anyone who takes the time to read the sample chapters, to buy the stories, or to leave reviews. Like I said, being a husband and a father of six, I understand how valuable time is, and again, thank you.
