Ok i admit it, im a big skeptic about these all in one gagets. Usually I can spot a flaw in gagets like this within hours of handling the product. And with all the stuff they said it would and could do and all, I just assumed that they would put it in a cheasy and/ or flemsy package that would all but fall apart literally in your hand. I just knew we would be sending this thing back before 30 days. But to my supprise, this product has an amazingly quality feel and sound about it. And get this, it does everything they said it would do, as a matter of fact quite effortlessly. My wife told me that this was the best Christmas gift I ever purchased for the family. And I would have to agree. I did not mean to go on this long about this mic, but it's not often a product comes along that is the real deal, but for me this is it. If i were an dj, this product would automatically step my game up to a new and "cha-ching" level, fo-sho. It sounded great on my tv, but when I connected it to my 7.1 surround sound, the quality of the sound itself blew everyone away including me i have to admit......It's a 1st time for everything i guess.....

I bought this Karaoke Mic-first one did not work but there were no problems with the return from the company-A definite Plus! The music however is lacking and does not match any of the original songs music. It is more of a piano version of all the songs-It does not sound like the songs music. However it is fun and it does have a lot of songs! I have sold mine and am now looking for a better one.Good Luck!

Got this for christmas and its great, works well. The portability of this karaoke systems makes it easy to carry around and its lots of fun at parties. Very easy to use, the kids were able to work it themselves and thoroughly enjoy using it. I suggest the purchase of an extra mic for those "back-up" singers or duets :)

We have had our Magic sing six months now after my wife saw it while visting a relative. We have a unit with two wireless mics and a base station.(Model 18000)

The mics come with over 2,000 built in songs and you can buy more.

The plus is the real time scoring that we use and the varity of songs. The negative is that the chips are more electronic versions as there are no real instruments but it is well done. Some of the public domain songs I have never heard of but we still use ours a lot and I am buying another chip for this holiday. If yuo enjoying singing and have a setero to hook it to or a stero TV this is a good unit that is also portable.

This has to be the worst karaoke product on the market.. The background music isn't even real music, it's 90's style cell phone .midi file backup sounds.

ridiculous garbage. waayyyyy over priced for what it is. mine is a paperweight right now because i cant stand to plug it in and hear the crappy music it makes.

was very pleased with the magic sing karaoke microphone but the so call 2064 song are mostly trash to me, I think that the title of the songs should be displayed, I will never buy another system or chip w/out looking at the list of songs, because I don't like to be imposed religious songs, and a large percentage of the songs were religious if I had wanted that I would have chosen one with a religious chip! Now I will have to invest in another chip and that defeats the deal I thought I found! Everyone has their own religious believes and including all these songs is not fair!!!!!!!!!!

If you like karaoke, this is the one to get. A great listings and you can download the song listings from the seller's site. The cord is long enough that you don't necessarily need the wireless version. Sound quality is great. Background pictures are of course cheesy but that's expected.

Pros:

1000 songs is a great start and they are a fun variety.

Cons:
For me, this is huge. There is a "toy piano" sound that plays the melody over every single song. Not only is it distracting it makes you sound like crap if you can actually sing. Why they spent all this money on what is actually very interesting and convenient technology- WITHOUT planning on the ability for the user to disable the guide vocal is- well, beyond me.

I borrowed this item from a friend for a kids Christmas party. It was a total smash hit, the kids laughed and had a ball trying to sing along in contest mode to random songs. They loved that they could look up songs and sing their favorites and just overall had a fabulous time, for a party that was supposed to last a couple hours in the afternoon, the laughter and fun went way into the evening hours thanks to this awesome system. In addition it is so compact and easy to use, even the most electronic illiterate person could hook it up and have a ball.

This thing is TOO COOL. It's compact and well made. Lot's of songs come with it and the documentation is great. Although its MIDI it plays very well and if you get it you will love it. NOTE: keep it away from people who think they can sing but really can't. This amplifys their ineptitude.
