About the Author

Chloe Jon Paul, M.Ed., is a retired educator and writer of several published articles and a book entitled What Happens Next: A Family Guide to Nursing Home Visits . . . and More.

Her many achievements include winning the title of Ms. Maryland Senior America 2003; receiving the Fulbright Fellowship Seminars Abroad award to South Africa, 1996; serving as the lead facilitator for the Alternatives to Violence Project in prison and community workshops on conflict resolution for ten years; serving as a state representative for the National Family Caregivers Association's caregiver community action network from 2006-2008; traveling to all seven continents; and serving as an advisory board member on the MD, Healthcare Commission and Interagency Commission for Aging Services: Maryland Department of Aging.

Chloe's philosophy of life is ''find a need and fill it.'' She is the proud mother of a son, Dominic, and daughter, Alessa. Her three grandsons are her greatest joy. Chloe resides in Bowie, MD.

I have to say that the title of this book really caught my eye: Entering the Age of Elegance. As a woman turning 50 this year I love this invitation to elegance. Chloe has taken a fresh approach to a popular topic by giving us a resource-rich travel guide. This book is packed with practical information, recommended book lists, web pages and resources. I found myself saying, I never thought about that before ... over and over.
Great read.

After reading this "elegant" book I am filled with not just the abundant knowledge, resources, and advice Chloe Jon Paul includes but the feeling of excitement as life's journey continues and I am even better equipped to continue down my individual path.
