Setting the Spiritual Stage foe Dreaming,
By Connie Kaplan (Santa Monica, CA United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Entering the Temple of Dreams: Jewish Prayers, Movements, and Meditations for Embracing the End of the Day (Paperback)
I teach dreaming as a spiritual practice, and therefore I am profoundly thankful for this book. It offers some very deep, rich and beautiful techniques for us all to use at the end of the day as we lay down to sleep and restore ourselves to the essential nature of Life. It is also an impeccably well presented and perfectly documented piece of research. Its format makes it easy to read, and its language makes it easy to understand. Frankiel and Greenfeld have given you a gift through this book. I encourage you to accept this gift with grace and put it to work in your life!

This review is from: Entering the Temple of Dreams: Jewish Prayers, Movements, and Meditations for Embracing the End of the Day (Paperback)
Entering the Temple of Dreams is about the Bedtime Shema. It is an interesting read with some good information on some of the prayers included. However, there is too much Kabalah and mysticism for my taste, kind of "New Age" wrapped in a Jewish context.
