Hypnotic and serene,

At the end of a long day, let the music of James Johnson's ENTERING TWILIGHT bathe all of you stress away. Relax as the hypnotic yet serene music takes you further and further to serenity. As you listen, you will forget all yet remember everything. This track is 66 minutes of beautiful ebbing and flowing ambience that will take your breath away and leaving you wanting more. After listening to this, you will find yourself more peaceful and relaxed. James Johnson realistically reproduces the sounds of nature in the utmost perfection of any ambient artist today. If you are an admirer of ambient music, this is certainly THE one CD you must add to your collection! Truly of work of art!

Not a patch on Eno -- all it has in common with Neroli is length,

This plinky-plonky music is more Vangelis / New Age than ambient and bears little comparison to Eno. Give it a spin by all means, but if you want to hear the real deal you must hear Neroli...

There really isn't much to say about "Entering Twilight". It's a single long track of ambient music, like Eno's "Thursday Afternoon" and "Neroli". The music is lush and serene, combining vocal sounds with string and xylophone-like sounds to create an enveloping atmosphere that is incredibly relaxing and restful. Eno said that ambient music should be "as ignorable as it is interesting", meaning that you can listen to it actively and be rewarded, or just have it on in the background while you do other things and also be rewarded. "Entering Twilight" works on this level as well as any ambient music I've heard. Having this music on transforms the environment of the room into a kind of sonic paradise, reminding you of the most relaxing country breeze you've ever felt. I guess you can tell that I really like this music a lot. The name "Entering Twilight" is also well chosen; it has a sleepy dream-like quality befitting its title. Basically, if you like ambient music even a tiny bit, you are bound to like this CD.

Entering Twilight,

I have the CD Entering Twilight. I listen to it when I am on the internet and also when I just want some really relaxing music. The Artist I guess is a very sensitive person to know just how to get his music across to everybody by its rhythm. If you could pick any CD for relaxing with get this one.
