Lord Edward Laurence is on a quest to win a bride. Not just any bride - he seeks to win the heart of his cousin Emily Howland, companion to the beautiful (but dumb) Lady Georgiana. Emily, of course, absolutely loaths Lord Edward.

In order to win Emily, Lord Edward pursues Georgiana. I order to protect her dim witted charge, Emily will do anything to protect her... what follows is a funny romp through a regency romance.

I enjoyed the book - and found it a delightful comedy and fun read.

Kasey Michaels is a gem. I started years ago with her book "The Butler Did It," and was hooked. This book is my latest read of hers and I was not disappointed! Characters are well developed and the story-line is vastly entertaining! I highly recommend it. This book was purchased for my Kindle and am very satified with this version. (By the way...this review is written by Jay's wife as I am lucky enough to have all my Amazon purchases paid for via his account! :) )

This book is a treasure! I love the dry, subtle humor. In places it is absolutely hilarious. It is full of doddy, eccentric characters that you will just fall in love with. The main character, Lord Edward, is very likeable because he doesn't take his gorgeous self very seriously and he constantly runs in to difficulties with his plans to woo his beloved Emily. It was even better the second time I read it!!!
