Easy entertaining is charming, nostalgic and very romantic. The recipes are easy and the author adds little anecdotes and historical touches to make any work involved seem like fun.

This book is so easy to read since the author's writing style flows like she is a friend chatting next to you about suggestions for your upcoming party. It is well indexed so one can quickly go right to an area of interest to get great ideas. Edith Gilbert's recommendations are easy to implement and make even those of us who are not particularly domestic look like seasoned entertainers. |
