This book contains an engrossing collection of easy mathematical teasers that will prove that math can be fun. All the problems can be solved using simple mathematical thinking. These teasers are presented as riddle-like problems that involved familiar situations and quantities. The book includes 160 math teasers and 40 alphametics. This is an example of what you will fin in this book (A little old lady): "You want my age?" said Auntie Liz "You shouldn't ask, but here it is, You switch its digits: that will show Just half my age ten years ago" The clues are there, so you can see How old dear Auntie Liz would be. |
