I've bought this magazine because of the Star Trek featured front. It looks likes it was a themed issue. I'm not familiar with the magazine, so maybe I should have known that they presumably do not do that. The total amount of star trek pages was not much, at most about 4-5 pages. The information in there was not much new and not really eye-opening.

As a buyer who wanted to know more about Star Trek, and since Amazon offered this magazine at a serious discount, I feel a bit misguided. Even with the discount the (international) shipping charges were quite high, but justified if the content was much more than just these number of limited pages. The other pages were absolutely not interested, and for a non-US citizen you can skip the TV guide pages as well.

I jumped at the chance to get this particular magazine becuase I had just seen the movie and thought I could get more inside and in deapth information about the making of and other such info. Since I was not familer with the magazine I was surprised with how little information it contained on the subject considering the actractive cover. Since I was expecting so much more than what was provied, I was not happy with the purchase. I did get a subscription of the magazine however, and have found it can provide some worthwhile information if you are not expecting much.

I am an avid Star Trek fan a really enjoyed the pictures and articles in this magazine... Recommend it to every Trekker or Trekkie alike...
