Meet Sebastian. Very good looking, Very rich, and a witch. His gift is "seeing" and he uses his special talents to aid the police in gruesome investigations, sometimes to the point of exhaustion. Meet Mary Ellen, great legs, tough woman, and a cynic. The catalyst at a stolen baby and a large network that can get a child from one coast to the other without detection. Putting these two strong willed people together is like mixing fire and kerosene, something is bound to explode, and they do.

Sebatian's meets his match when he runs into this firey woman with the sharp mind and great legs, who likes to do things her own way. But in the end she does find a need for Sebatian's gift

Of the Four Donavan books, this is my favorite. I've run into many a Sebatian like men in my time and reading about one being set in his place is a fun read.

It's an enjoyable read in front of a fire on a cold winters afternoon.

Blessed Be.

A baby has been stolen and it was her job to find it-but private investigator Mel Sutherland had run out of leads. She could hardly blame the child's desperate mother for seeking the help of psychic Sebastion Donovan. Though Mel preferred to work alone, she was going to keep an eye on this sexy seer-she didn't trust him one bit! Sebastion knew practical minded Mary Ellen didn't believe in psychics or witches-she just plain had a bad attitude. She also had a pair of legs a man would die for. He had no choice but to help her find the child. For Mary Ellan was his destiny...

Entranced by Nora Roberts is the second book in the Donovan series which tells the tale of three cousins blessed with extraordinary talents.
Sebastian Donovan, cousin to Arianna and Morgana, is blessed with not only charm and good looks, but clairvoyant powers as well. When he is asked to help find a child whose been kidnapped he never expects to find love as well.
Like many of Nora Roberts' other series books, this title was a fast and enjoyable read with pleasant characters.

This was a reread for me and I enjoyed it. This is the second book in the 4 book series on the Donovan Legacy. The Donovan's are a family of witches. Each has a power that stands out. This is cousin Sebastians's story. His gift is that of sight. He is psychic.

Mary Ellen Sutherland (Mel) is a private detective who reluctantly joins her friend Rose on a trip to the local psychic's house when Rose's son David is kidnapped.

She doesn't believe in anything witch related including psychics. But as Sebastian gived her more and more clues. She has to follow them for the sake of David.

They embark on a journey as an undercover married couple trying to break up a kidnapping/selling baby ring.

An enjoyable read. Those of you who enjoy JD Robb/In Death series by Nora my recognize some similar trates between Mary Ellen and Eve.

Entranced is the second of the Donovan Legacy series by Nora Roberts. Sebastian Donovan is one of three cousins born to triplets married to triplets: the Donovan brothers married the Corrigan sisters. Sebastian is a witch with psychic abilities. Mel Sutherland is a private investigator whose close friend, Rose, has decided, in desperation, to ask for Sebastian's help to find her kidnapped baby. Mel doesn't trust the sexy seer and is sure he will take her friend for a ride, so she's going to keep a close eye on him. But he's telling her things he shouldn't know, eventually things he couldn't know. Soon they are trailing kidnappers, involving the FBI and posing as a happily married couple as bait in a trap. This romance with a supernatural twist is much better than the first book of the series: the characters are deeper, the dialogue more realistic, the plot more interesting and the story moves much faster. All round, a more satisfying experience.

ENTRANCED, 2nd in the series, Morganna's cousin Sebastian Donvan is approached to use his well-known psychic abilities to find a missing child. However, PI Mary Ellen Sutherland isn't about to let her friend be used by a fraud, much less get her hopes up about the missing child. Reluctantly Mary Ellen pairs up with Sebastian to combine their knowledge to rescue the child, and begrudgingly comes to believe that Sebastian's abilities, as well as the man himself, are extraordinary.

This is the second book in the series about the magical Donovan family.

PI Mel Sutherland's best friend's baby has been kidnapped, and she's doing everything she can to help find the baby, but with no success. Her friend is understandably desperate, and decides to consult clairvoyant Sebastian Donovan for help.

Sebastian has just finished helping the police with a gruesome, draining case, and would like nothing better than some peace and quiet to recover his equilibrium. But the anxious mother combined with "something" about Mel convinces him otherwise.

Here's where the book loses me. Mel is adamant that her friend not consult the psychic. I don't get it, and I don't think it's explained very well in the book. I understand completely not believing, and not thinking it'll help, but the woman's child is missing. If it were my friend, whatever gets her through this, gives her a little hope, or a minute's reassurance, I'd be all for it, even if it were dancing in a fountain with a teddy bear. If Sebastian had come to them, or even if he were charging her outrageous fees, I could understand her cautioning her friend about charlatans trying to take advantage. But neither is the case.

It took me a while to get over my irritation with that, but the mystery part of the story made up for it eventually--or rather the police procedural part, though it was a PI and a clairvoyant rather than police. Once they started working together, Mel and Sebastian made a good team, and I enjoyed watching them track and catch the kidnappers. The romance between them was rather predictable, but nice, and Mel's going from skepticism to belief wasn't quite as much fun as Nash's in the previous Donovan story.
