Vicentico Valdes recorded three beautiful albums backed by Bobby Valentin's orchestra during the mid-1980s (this was the first one). Timeless bolero classics like "Plazos Traicioneros","Eres Feliz", "Fidelidad", "Entre Este Mundo Y Dios" and "Conversacion En Tiempo De Bolero" are your reasons for buying this CD. Vicentico's silky-smooth voice made him one of Cuba's all-time best male vocalists and this CD was among his best works.

Definitely one of the greatest Vicentico Valdes albums, recorded during the mid 80's, late in his great singing career. Recorded in San Juan, Puerto Rico, accompanied by a great studio recording strings orchestra directed by the greatly skilled and versatile music veteran Bobby Valentin. You will hear then new re-issues of Vicentico's 1950's unforgettable classics such as Piloto y Vera's "Fidelidad", Jorge Zamora's "Derroche de Felicidad" and a then newly composed classic bolero, Rene Touzet's" Conversacion En Tiempo de Bolero". The original release of this great recording in Lp format during the 80's was indeed a pleasant surprise for all the fans, everywhere, of "La Voz Elastica", or "the elastic voice" as Vicentico was nicknamed for the unique style of singing the beautiful boleros of his extensive and also unique repertoire. Definitely one of Vicentico's very best, but then it was always impossible to choose his best, because all were indeed outstanding.
