Probably the best $23.95 I ever spent!!!,

This review is from: Entrepreneur Or Employee? Should You Get Out Or Stay In Your Current Job? (Hardcover)
This book lives up to the promise made on the cover. The authors DO lead you every step of the way with practical tips and advice. I liked the checkpoints at the end of every chapter. The 23 things to ask for to get a better severance package is well worth the price of the book. Easy to read in very straight forward language... I really recommend this boo

This is a must read for anyone who is considering a career change or have always wondered whether they should take the leap and go out on their own. I found it easy to read, and it gave me a lot of great examples I could relate very well to.

This review is from: Entrepreneur Or Employee? Should You Get Out Or Stay In Your Current Job? (Hardcover)
All those other books talk about pie-in-the-sky stuff. This is the first book that really talks simple English and you get more "inside" information like how to deal with banks, and what to ask for in a severance package. Also, I learned that not everyone is really cut out to be an entrepreneur. A fantastic book. Bravo!!

In these days of mass layoffs and downsizing, this is such a timely book.I may be laid off soon, and would love to rule my own destiny career wise. This book really has helped me crystalize my thinking in helping me decide am I cut out to be my own boss and do my own thing, or better suited for the corporate world.. working for someone else and living at their "whims." The book is written in everyday terms, so it makes it SO easy to understand. Bravo and thank you! |
