This is a quick read, very inspirational. The stories include some famous individuals whose backgrounds I didn't know much about, so I appreciated learning what sparked their entrepreneurial spirits. (Why not learn from "The Greats?") The other entrepreneurs come from all walks of life and their stories offer hope to those who are feeling trapped in their 9-to-5 jobs.
The wisdom and advice offered by these 28 entrepreneurs is invaluable -- whether you're in your 20s, 30s or 60s. If you're looking to reinvent yourself, Entrepreneur Intervention serves up inspiration that will jump start your journey. Excellent!

Entrepreneur Intervention ("EI") is a timely publication for today's uncertain financial environment. While the news media focuses on the efforts of governments and large financial institutions to solve the problems for Middle America (or Middle Europe for that matter), EI reminds us to look at the efforts of individuals - through the eye of the entrepreneur. The collection of accounts by today's business pioneers is interspaced with past entrepreneurs (Marriott and P.T. Barnum) who helped build this country. Together, there is a guide path for folks to consider if you want to start your own business and enter today's ever-evolving business landscape. It is a nice quick read and sends a message that Americans, in particular, need to hear (perhaps because we forgot). If you have an idea or desire to start a business - get out there and just do it!

I read this book cover to cover over one weekend. I felt not only inspired by the many stories of people overcoming life but I found that I had hope, I could break out of the 9 to 5 job and do something that I loved.
What inspired me the most, is that so many people wrote that they didn't start their business for the purposes of making money but instead to do something that they loved or believed in. So often we hear about big corporations only chasing the dollars, but this book shows that there are real people out there doing and creating things because they love it and not for the dollars it makes them. I think this book will make a wonderful christmas present to family and friends that hate their job. I know I will be sharing it with several of my friends!

A MUST HAVE BOOK
THIS BOOK HAS A LOT OF VALUABLE INFORMATION IN IT. THE AUTHOR SPENT A LOT OF TIME ON RESEARCH AND INTERVIEWS. ALL WANNABE ENTREPRENEURS SHOULD READ THIS BOOK.
