I tried this product first in a motel room which had been a smoking room. Within a few hours it was as fresh as if it were a non-smokers room...and stayed fresh. I next tried it near my multiple cat litter-box. It cut the odor noticeably. This is one of the best, if not the best, products I have used for freshening an area or removing odorous smells.

This is simply perfume in ugly, supposedly environmental packaging. It only masks odors; it is completely inappropriate for anyone who is sensitive to perfumes, odors, and chemicals; and is one of the most singular examples of misleading marketing and advertising I've ever come across.

On the other hand, if you want to take a chance on buying room perfume without knowing in advance what it smells like (hint: think industrial/airport bathroom urinal tablets floral scent) then this is the product for you.

I can't tell if the product actualy removes any odors, but it does an excellent job of masking every odor in the room with it's own very strong smell. If you're looking for something that removes odors without introducing another odor potentially more bothersome, I recommend you avoid this product.

No "odor eliminator", spray, candle, etc. is perfect. This one does the job in eliminating most odors. Make sure to pay attention to the suggestion for the square footage of effectiveness per tub of product. If product scent becomes too strong, close the lid while in the immediate area, then reopen product after you leave. Lasts longer than Wizard, Glade, Renuzit, and other popular air freshener products.

Recommended to me by my daughter who was told about the product by her boss. We all have cats, which means litter boxes and associated kitty smells in our houses. This is the ONLY product that has been successful in virtually eliminating the odors. Now I don't have to do the SMELL :) Test before entering my house first when followed by guests. I had been buying the 8oz. size but my daughter again informed me that I could buy the 16oz. size online. I like the product so much that I will continue to use it.

I have used this odor remover for about 10 years, and it's absolutely the best ever! You can open and close it as needed, (makes it last longer!)I visited my daughter, and the residual cigarette smoke in her house almost ruined my expensive memory foam pillows (I thought!) I closed them up in a plastic bag with the odor sponge, and 24 hours later they were like new! I am allergic to a lot of things, but this product doesn't bother me at all. I truly recommend it.

I have some carpet in my hall that my chihuahua has relieved herself on. Same spot, several times. Can't get the smell totally out, there's a lingering funky smell. This stuff absorbed all the odor within a few hrs. Problem is, the smell comes back a little when you move the air sponge to another location. I guess I'll have to get an extra as it's good to have one near the cat box as well.
It does work pretty well though. I'm happy not to have that funky smell in my hall anymore. So until I can tear out the carpet, this works.

I purchased this product after reviewing many other on line opinions of it. I have an older red leather couch and was offended by the smell of it. I had tried all the other cleaning and moisturizing methods suggested by other leather couch owners and none of them worked. After continuing to look for a solution I read that one person had purchased this product and just put in under the couch and it completely absorded the odor. I brought it and placed the open container under the couch and within 48 hours I could not smell the couch in the room any longer. I will have this as a staple in my home from now on. Works in the car too.

This product is mislabeled. It doesn't "remove" odors, it masks them with a very strong and (to our noses) unpleasant, cloying scent. I'd rather smell the dog. We're going back to the volcanic rocks , which actually absorb odors without adding any.

We have a utility/shop/laundry room that had a stong musty/mousey odor that we just couldn't make better. We tried all sort of room deodorizers to no avail. It seemed the only fix was new ceiling tiles plus some major construction. That was not an option. Another computer search turned up the Enviromantal Air sponge. I read lots of reviews and decided it sounded like what I needed. I ordered four 8 oz. tubs and put two in the ceiling area and one in the room (more than the recommended amount). It took about three weeks, but the difference is amazing! I'll be ordering on a regular basis!! Excellent product!!
