Clear Concise review of Environmental economics,

All the environmental issues are well explained and good case studies bring the theory to life. Diagrams are excellent and mathematics kept to the essential places. Some previous economic experience required before reading. Well written, up to date, interesting and flows well.Highlights are market failure, tradable pollution permits, methods for valuing the environment and incentives for environmental protection.

The authors have done a great job of treating the material with rigor and clarity while maintaining reader interest. The result is a useful reference for graduate students as well as an accessible text for undergraduates.
