OK, it won't replace your wire pin stapler, but you'll find it superior in several ways. We use them in our juvenile institution to prevent some kinds of self-destructive behaviors that staples have been used for. I like the silver ones best, but these are made in lots of colors, look around. Put a few papers in the slot - not diagonally, but horizontally - mash on the top, and the gadget will cut and fold a tidy tab that will secure your papers as well as a staple.
