Up to date and detailed! At 13' wide and over 8' high, this striking world map wall mural contains a wealth of information. Besides showing countries, capitals and major cities, the map provides physical details, land elevations, ocean depths, distances, time zones, and much more.
The 8 panels of this map mural can be put together to emphasize different continents - the Americas, Africa/Europe, or Asia can be the center of the map. Easy-to-follow instructions come with the map, along with a dry-strippable cellulose based paste. It can be trimmed to accommodate smaller walls, electrical outlets, or any other particular needs.
The laminated version includes a dry-erase marker which may be used to write on the laminated surface repeatedly. Scale: 1" = 160 miles

This is an outstanding and beautiful world map mural. It rocks the walls and makes a real impression on everyone who sees it. I was surprised to find out that I can use dry-erase markers and write all over it and then when finished I could either erase it with my dry eraser or just wipe it with a cloth. I can't tell you how useful this feature has been. It was really easy to install (but I needed someone to help because of its size). The panels are interchangeable too and really easy to move from one place or wall to another. I used an exacto knife to cut around the wall switches and outlets. The map is extremely-well detailed giving depths of oceans at various places and tons of other information. Great map for my wall. Thanks.

My engineer husband struggled to put this map up....portions were cut crooked, no paste was included, it came in a cardboard tube with few instructions and no accessories. After hours of trying, I finally called the company who makes the map, Environmental Graphics, to explain my frustrations. Apparently the map I received was probably returned an re-sold, or the company we purchased from was doing something sketchy. They offered to send me a new map out and this one came in a nice box, with all the accessories (pen, seam glue, paste, etc) and none of the pieces were cut yet. HMmmmm. I would think maybe this was a mistake except that the company who originally sent the map gave us instructions saying the Glue was already on the poster and we just had to re-wet it! (Environmental Graphics said that is never the case). Bottom line, if you want this map seek another supplier or call EG directly.
