I had two bathroom rugs that were constantly getting in the door because the backing was worn from washing. I was frustrated enough to almost get new ones but I loved the colors and they were hard to find to go with my bathroom and then I found this Fiber-Lok Rug Backing surfing the Internet late one night. I bought it, followed the instructions and worked like a charm. WOW! No more rug getting caught in the door. (Oh, buy two jars when working on two rugs so there's enough. I bought one but it wasn't enough so I had to buy another.) This stuff works wonders!!! And follow the instructions!!!

I bought this to use on knitted slipper socks - it does the job, however there is a long drying time involved, and required two coats.

This product is great! It works perfectly. I use it for some knitting projects, and has been the perfect solution.

If you are into latch hooking, locker hooking or punch rugs, this is an item that you must have. Paints on the back of your project easily. Keeps your yarn from coming out and makes the whole project skid proof. Plus, it's machine washable. Use it on older rugs to keep them from skidding and replace the backing on bathmats that has peeled off. Use in a well ventillated area - it's a little stinky but once it dries you don't smell it at all.

This product is just what I wanted. It was easy to apply, easy clean up with just soap and water, but I'd suggest using a brush you won't want to use for anything else because as you wash the brush, the rubber solidifies, and unless you are very dilligent, you will end up with rubber particles holding some of the brush hairs together. I was able to clean the brush very well, that is to say, get the residue all out of the brush, but it took some effort.

I will buy this product again when I need it.

I bought this to put on slipper boots I was making out of fleece for my nieces. They have new, non-carpet floors at home, so I wanted to give them something to keep their feet warm, but I didn't want them slipping and falling! I put squiggles of this stuff on the bottoms of each boot, and they work great! I have also put them through the washer and dryer a couple of times, and that has worked out as well. I would just caution that this stuff takes a LONG time to dry completely when you are applying it in squiggles out of a syringe instead of with a brush, so leave yourself at least a day or so for the drying to work.

I have been making rugs for over a year and this is the best stuff I have found to put on the back to make then skid proof. Love it you got to try it.

The product works pretty well. It will only do about a 6'x 4' area or the backs of two 24'x 36' rugs. I paid about 24.00 in all by the time I recieved it, including shipping. Then I called a local Ace Hardware and found it for 12.99 plus tax. I don't think I will order anymore.

This worked great on slippers made for Christmas gifts! The recipients are very active, so reducing the "slide" effect of the yarn was very important. It is washable after application - a plus! Went on white and dried clear (both coats) - coated bottoms of slippers in garage - made sure to wear disposable gloves! You do need to apply this in a well ventilated area. Was able to bring them inside after an hour or so as the ammonia odor quickly dissipated. Paint brush cleaned up well with warm water and a touch of dish soap - cover your drain with a paper towel as the rubber will clump up.
