The A27W221 is HDTV capable, meaning it accepts 720p and 1080i high-def signals (from external digital set-top box or satellite receiver) as well as 480p inputs from a progressive-scan DVD player or digital video recorder, and it also offers a built-in NTSC tuner for convenient broadcast-TV viewing.
LCD screens offer a number of benefits over CRT monitors and televisions, including general ease of use, freedom from eye strain (no screen flickering or radiation emissions), quiet operation (no high-pitch "flyback" noise, an issue with CRT TVs), accurate image geometry (no curvature distortion or susceptibility to magnetic interference from, say, speakers), long screen life, space savings, and light weight/easy positioning.
They also tend to be more affordable than their flat-panel plasma counterparts, which often (though not always) offer faster response times and higher contrast ratios.
The A27W221 stands a mere 4.3 inches thick without its supplied tilt base, and it even includes a pair of integrated stereo speakers powered by 5 watts per channel.
PIP (Picture-in-Picture), POP (Picture-over-Picture), and PBP (Picture-by-Picture) functionality let you work on your PC while watching a movie, or view a game and a movie simultaneously. And the full-function remote control gives you full control right at your fingertips.
Connections include an analog PC input (cable supplied), 2 component-video inputs (1 standard-definition, 1 SD/HD), and 2 each S-video and composite-video inputs. A set of stereo analog audio (left/right RCA) outputs lets you integrate the set with your integrated amplifier or surround receiver and external speaker(s).
What's in the Box
TV, an AC power cord, an RGB DB15 cable, a PC audio cable, remote control with batteries, a tilt base, and a user's manual.

Like the title says, this TV is a sleeper brand, a really good tv from a not so popular company. Now i have a 52 inch Zenith LCD in my living room and this TV is just as good quality for my gaming in my bedroom. Good price, good quality, good buy. Dont get much better than this for the price.

My husband was unable to understand the manual and a cable to connect to the imput from the HD cable signal was missing. Technicians from our company supplied the cable and the unit is all that could be asked for. The panel has imput for all of the features advertised.
The performance is above par for HD TV and the picture is excellent. We are very pleased with our purchase.
