I have been longing for a small size TV for quite a while. I first saw this one on my friend's office desk, and the image and sound quality were excellent!

I did research and eventually I got the same one for myself. Love the flat, wide LCD screen and the frame with sleek, black finish (The pictures here do not do good to its actual look and feel. ). The design is simplistic, yet very modern. It looks more like a photo frame than a TV which usually has that bulky look and feel. When I put it on the desk in my study room, it fits in instantly. And it is almost zen-like to watch such high definition digital TV images on a flat screen in a desk setting.

With antenna alone, I get about 60 channels. I am very happy about that. The wide screen TV images and the sound quality are excellent. It can also be hooked up with cable plug-in. I also play digital photos on it with music in the background when I don't watch TV.

I actually concentrate better with a little bit sound in the background. The digital images and sound relaxes me, yet is not as intrusive as the big screen TV in my living room. It doesn't have to draw all my attention to it, and I won't miss anything funny either. Work or study gets more fun!

First of all, I wanted to let you know that the review that starts with "longing for a small TV" is pure BS... I mean who "longs" for a television!..Astroturfed by the mfg or distributor. Do a search in Google and you will figure that out pretty fast. Also you can look for the [...] review which is a very fair assessment of this device... So here's an honest review. ... With that said:

I wanted to have a small, elegant looking and unobtrusive TV on my desk to watch CNBC in SD (I would watch it in HD if TW cable allowed me to with my basic QAM service). This TV includes a digital tuner, which works well - I opted to use this with Time Warner Cable basic cable service - the tuner, which is a QAM tuner detected 100+ channels including HD from TW's basic cable service in Northwest Los Angeles. The digital frame photo picture quality is great, HDTV picture quality was good, SDTV was so-so. My only real big gripe is the lack of basic picture controls, such as Sharpness and Color. The frame features Brightness and Contrast only. I found SD channels to lack color which would be simple to fix if they gave me an option to do so!

I can't attest to the advanced picture frame options such as music, as I only did a quick test of the frame portion of functionality. This is primarily a desk TV for me.

Pros:
- Works as a small, unobtrusive digital HD TV and picture frame.
- Elegant Looking
- Remote Control
- Cable hookup

Cons:
- No color, sharpness +/- control - The SD TV color is a bit pale. A color control would fix this! It has brightness and contrast controls only.
- No mute on remote
- Pricey
- Power switch on rear
- Funky TV interface, okay for casual viewing and not a ton of channel changing!
- Strict Warranty - you cannot return this item, replacement ONLY!!!

I never tried the included antenna or much of the frame functionality, with the exception of basically viewing pics of an SD card.

It came today and I was all excited to try it! But, IT IS NOT for regular (non digital) cable service. They are not very clear about it in their advertising.
I called Amazon, they told me that this is a 3rd party seller, etc, etc. so I sent them an e-mail asking how to return it. If you had experience returning things to All-In-One Group, plz let us know.
BTW, the product looked great and it would have made a great birthday present for my wife...now I have to hit the stores! Bummer!

Although this product is beautiful to look at, it is impossible to use. There was no way to figure out the cable channels and instructions were impossible...So, had to send it back..I am not rating it for anything but a TV which is what I bought it for..but as a TV connected to a cable service, it never recognized any of the cable channels no matter what I tried to do.

Original message submitted to seller: "I was very satisfied using this for viewing photos for the first 2 weeks this product worked after I received it. Unfortunately, after that initial period of use the screen seem to be stuck in a zoom mode off to the right side of the screen and breaking on and off as if it was loosing frequency signal, while using just the SD card. The TV mode never worked; it never picked a single channel at all. I thought you would like to know this before I write my review of this product and leave you feedback accordingly."

Love this little tv!!Perfect for a kitchen or an office desk. It's really stylish and modern, we use it in our showroom to display photos of remodeled kitchens and bathrooms and the photos look great. The only problem is the when the tv is on, the reception comes and goes if you walk by it, but that's because of the digital signal strength, unfortunately we don't have cable TV at the office. The price for this from [...]is great, I would have paid triple that. It makes a great affordable gift.

Very good sound from this stylish and compact tv. Using it for my kitchen, please note that this is only mountable on the wall, and not meant for mounting with cabinet mounts. I ended up placing it on the countertop like a picture frame, which did not take up much space. Set up with cable is a little tricky and tok a while. However, the TV's picture turned into strips of colors after only 1 day, we'll see what happens with the replacement. Has no mute button and no power off button on remote.
