Good for teeth AND stress,
By My dog loves all sizes of these CET Chews. She is a 15 pound Bichon Frise who loves to chew to relieve stress, but only bones, rawhide, or similar chewables. I've heard mixed reviews on rawhide in general, but in the last few years rawhide chews started giving her terribly smelly gas, enough to clear the room! We have discovered, however, that the CET chews do not have that effect, and they help to relieve her stress as well as clean her teeth. We recently switched to the smaller chews because even though she manages the larger chews just fine, we decided it was better to give her smaller ones more often than a big one just occasionally, and that it's probably easier on her small digestive system. Anyway, we love these and would recommend anyone whose dog enjoys chewing to give these a try. Do keep in mind that whenever your pet is chewing something like this that they should be monitored, though we have never had a minute's trouble with these. Thanks!

Enzymatic Chews Help Remove Plaque,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: C.E.T. Enzymatic Oral Hygiene Chews for Petite Dogs, 30 Chews (Misc.)
C.E.T Enzymatic Oral Hygiene Chews have been given to my Schnauzer, Bo, everyday for the past two months. A recent annual checkup for Bo by our veterinarian revealed his molars are now completely free of plaque and the plaque on his canines has been materially reduced. The use of these chews has averted our having to put him to sleep to have his teeth cleaned by the vet, which would have been hard on him and hard on our pocketbook. These chews really work as advertised.

My dogs love these!,

My dogs love these chews, and I feel like I am doing something to help them with their dental health.
I will say that I no longer buy the petites because they are just too eas to chew up, even for my six pound Chihuahua. I now buy the bigger ones and cut them in half, and my only issue with the larger sizes is the inconsistency of thickness in the pieces within a bag. Some of them are so thick even my 30 pound dog gives up on them.

Love these chews. My two Pomeranians have terrible breath and need dental care yearly which is extremely expensive. I've used these chews for nearly 2 years at the recomendation of my Vet and they do a great job between cleanings. I'm so happy to find them through Amazon since my other suppier was charging nearly twice as much per package. One thing I especially like about these chews is that they are made from tiny pieces of rawhide so as they get moist they break up and greatly reduce the danger of choking on a large piece.

We've been very happy providing occasional treats to each of our Cockers. However we were reluctant to give them dried rawhide chews (tied up bone shape) because the rawhide pieces can cause blockage in their intestinal tract. But our Vet (Dr. Purewal) advised us about the C.E.T. products. The fact that they are formed-and-flaked into the shape of a strip would prevent them from getting stuck in the intestines. And a great plus is that they have beneficial enzymes which will help prevent plaque build-up besides being nutritious. Shopping for them through Amazon helps us control the cost as well. Buying through a Vet can make them a bit pricey. I think you should try them if you haven't done so before.

Keeps my Yorkie busy!,

I love buying treats for my dogs and when I came across this in Amazon, I knew I had to buy it for my Yorkie to help her with her bad breath (CET Toothpaste helped as well!). I was worried she won't like it coz it doesn't have the usual scent of a dog treat (meat, lamb, chicken, etc...). So when I gave it to her, she sniffed and tasted it and started chewing on it! She loves it!
I'm so happy that somehow I'm giving my Yorkie something to do while cleaning her teeth! It also keeps her busy for a few minutes. Normal treats will only last a couple of seconds but with this, it takes her more than 5 minutes to finish it! What more can you ask for? Double benefits!

I went by all the great reviews and saw people giving to 15 pound dogs and that is what my Pom is. When it arrived I see it says for dogs under 11 pounds only. Since I buy tennie Greenies for my dog and this is in overall length larger I gave him one. He tore into it and almost choked. Now for 20 min he is breathing heavy, if he doesn't calm soon I'll be calling the vet. I think I will be cleaning up vomit soon. I hate that I have given my dog something to hurt him when I wanted to help.
Also what I didn't notice before I purchased it says wash your hands after handling. Now why do I want to put something in my dog that I have to wash my hand just because I touched it? I have contacted Amazon about these issues and they are going to update the page so that it is clear not to give to dogs over 11 pounds.

Our Chewsy Dogs Like These,

I bought these chews because our dogs were getting tired of the same old Beefeater chews every evening, and I needed to spend five dollars more to get free shipping. All the previous positive reviews also nudged me in this direction.
From day one our two dogs, a senior bichon and a middle aged shih tzu, have greeted these chew snacks enthusiastically. We like their small length and thinness of being. They break into small pieces for easier consumption by the dogs. Be careful when presenting very hard chews to your dogs. We learned the hard way after discovering that poor Piper had four broken teeth. The doggie dentist advised us not to give the dogs any chew that does not bend. These oral hygiene chews fit the bill. I wish there were more chews in a package, but because our dogs have received these so well, I'll be ordering again.

My dog has been chewing these CET chews since she was about 2 years old. At age 9 now, she has minimal tarter and no 'dog breath'. She eagerly looks forward to her chew every morning!

These were on discount so I figured why not try them being that my dog's mouth smells like his other end if you know what I mean. After two days of giving him 1 chew a day, he started vomitting everywhere. It has to be these chews as we haven't given him anything else new lately and he rarely ever vomits. I think I will be sticking with greenies from now on.
