5.0 out of 5 stars Heel Spur Relief at Last
I had a heel spur in my right foot that was killing me. I spent months taking pain killers, using wraps and other things to make it go away, but nothing worked. I read some reviews about Acid-a-Cal when I searched for drug free alternatives for heel spurs. I decided to try it after pure desperation for relief. I started taking it on June 27, and by early August, the pain...

1.0 out of 5 stars Gave me insomnia!
I bought this to balance my PH. Unfortunately, it gives me horrible insomnia everytime I've tried to take it as prescribed, and as a post menopausal woman, I've had enough insomnia to last a lifetime, so in the trash this goes...

5.0 out of 5 stars Bone spur pain relief, June 5, 2009

I developed a bone spur on my heel last year & my doctor recommended this product. It worked great. After taking for 4 months the pain was completely gone. I go back to it when the bone spur begins to bother me and after about 4 weeks the pain will go away. Best advice is to check with you doctor first and see what they say.

I don't doubt anyone else's review, but don't think this helps everyone...all I did was pour money down the drain on this product.

I wish my foot Dr. recomented Acid-A-Cal.
All he wanted to do was give me more cortizone shots in my heel spur. I did take one, and I was pain free for about 8 months.

Btw, a Cortizone shot is Extremly painful. Cortizone does not leave your body, it just floats around, and depletes your bones of calcium.Plus it is not a permenant fix for heel spurs.

I was getting to a point that I didn't want to get out of bed in the morning, as it was so painful to walk on my heel spur. Plus shopping has been very painful.
I'm Not over weight, so I do not have the heel spurs from being over weight.

I have been searching the internet for an alternative to drugs or surgery. When I started reading allot of reviews from other websites also, that Acid-A-Cal helped there heel spurs, I figured at this price , what did I have to lose.. I'm so happy I tried this, and the price is great here..

I have been taking Acid-A-Cal for just a couple of weeks, and I can walk with out walking on my toes/limping. (walking through Costco)!
I'm not totaly pain free, but I have not taken it for very long, and I do NOT take two with every meal.I take about 3 caps aday. There also very easy to swollow.

Shaklee vitamins use to make a calcium that took away my heel spur, but they changed there formula a few years ago, so that was not working any longer. Also shaklee added vitamin K, which gives me muscele spasams I found out, and was over 3 times the price of this..
But I'm sure if anyone has heel spurs, they would pay any price to take the pain away.

I just ordered two more bottles.

I just hope this formula does not change..If it works, don't change it!!
If I could give this 10 stars I would.

Two thumbs up.

I was facing foot surgery for bone spurs on my heel until a holistic doctor told me that Acid-A-Cal would take away the spurs. I took 3 tablets 4 times a day for a couple of months, and the spurs disappeared. It worked great! I'm forever thankful that I learned about this before I had to have surgery.

Upon immediately taking 2 pills I felt a burning sensation on my left heel, where the bone spur is located. Weird because that never happened before. I'm ordering a second bottle because this has definitely lessened the morning pain I always felt when waking up, just after 1 bottle! I had a doctor recommend enzymatic therapy products in the past, so I know they're great products.

4.0 out of 5 stars Worked for me!, March 10, 2010
I was getting ultrasonic treatments at the chiropractor for an ankle bone spur. THe chiropractic said it was working when the mobility was only getting worse. The health food store suggested I take this supplement with magnesium. I took it that night and immediately the bone spur started to reduce and become painful, a sign that the ankle is healing as opposed to placing bone to repair. (Note: the ankle was never painful before either though I had twisted it pretty badly.) It has now been 3 days and it is almost gone. Even if it doesn't entirely leave, now my ankle feels like it did before I twisted it a few months ago. I highly recommend that people supplement with magnesium to facilitate the calcium going to the proper places in body and absorbing areas that are not suppose to calcified.

Update: I found a product called Ezorb that I like better. It is a pure calcium powder.
