I am a healthy normal weight and active adult, but I did have one problem. The problem was I would occasionally go through spells of constipation- I tried a lot of things and here is what I found;
1. Laxatives- Dangerous and can only be used in very short spans. Can be painful, simply a last measure. Just for emergencies.
2. Fiber mixes- These help, but only just a bit. Probably better for a colon cleanse. These don't really work for irregularity issues.
3. Other pills- I took a nature made herbal laxative and it was really just a mild form of laxative that your body adjusts to and doesn't work.
4. These pills- It's not the answer by itself, but they sure are by far the best. They also can be used long term. They are easy to take tiny pills (1 and done in the AM).

I have tried accuflora which has good reviews but they just didn't do anything for me. I felt like my body er...functions were the same on and off that. I also tried trader joe's probiotic...the more expensive capsules that are supposed to survive your stomach acid. They didn't work either. The pearls work the best and I can FOR SURE TELL if they are working. In fact the first couple days you use them...take care to not be too far from a toilet at any given time... Def gonna stick to these from now on. no more shopping around!

I had been eating Activia every day for my IBS(C) and just got sick of the taste and having to eat it every. single day.
I've taken this product 1 a day for about 2 weeks. So far I've noticed less gas and bloating, and therefore have a flatter tummy! It seems to be helping with regularity as well.
This seems to be the most economical product of its kind and I plan to continue taking it. I am pleased that it does not have to be refrigerated. I am not disappointed!
