5.0 out of 5 stars fantastic product for adrenal fatigue
This is the best product I have found for adrenal fatigue. Absolutely. After dealing with CFS for 20 years, this has made all the difference in the world to me. I can't live or function without it now. (ps I only take one capsule per day, not the recommended three). Highly recommend this.

My adrenals are depleted according to bloodwork. I've had ongoing Candidiasis (systemic yeast infection) which has attacked my system. I have had no results from taking this so I will discontinue use.

5.0 out of 5 stars This stuff works!, July 27, 2009

(REAL NAME)
I happened across a message board in which one of the members was extolling the virtues of adrenal-health supplements and some of the symptoms of adrenal fatigue. Without restating them all here (look them up!), I decided to give supplementation a try. One quick trip to the local natural foods store later, I am feeling much better. After only about one week of taking the Adrenergize I've noticed my mood and energy have lifted significantly. It's hard to explain exactly what it feels like- I still have bad days occasionally (I'm generally in good spirits but do have stressful days), but the bad days don't feel as bad. The good days are great! I feel more confident and just generally better, and my clarity of mind has never been better.

I can't really find out what exactly is in this stuff so I have tried another product called Adrenal Health from Gaia herbs (which is also excellent, perhaps even a little better albeit a bit more expensive), which has Holy Basil and Rhodiola in it, among other things. I imagine this stuff has similar ingredients in their "adrenal cortex complex" but I'm not sure. Either way I feel as though it has worked wonders for me- I recommend it highly. Please comment if you know of any side effects or if you know of the ingredients.

ADDED- This contains mostly several types of ginseng, Bupleurum Chinense root, licorice extract, turmeric extract, and wild yam root extract. Some ingredients are considered "adaptogenic", meaning that they assist the body in coping with and regulating hormonal stress responses. The ingredients are very different than the Gaia herbs product but both seem very effective. Some of the ingredients are actually considered to be complementary to each other. I have been taking both in tandem at their recommended doses for about two weeks and have had no adverse reactions / side effects so far.

Great stuff!

5.0 out of 5 stars This stuff really works!, July 22, 2011

I've been taking Isocort for adrenal support for over a year now. It worked well, until they changed the formula to a vegetarian formula. The new formula doesn't work for me, so I went in search of a replacement and found ADRENergize.

I was a bit skeptical that it would work as well as Isocort but, after only three doses, I'm feeling much more like myself again. Friends and family are even commenting that I seem more coherent and energetic.

(NOTE: I doubled the first few doses, just to get it in my system faster, but I'm going to try backing down to a normal dose after today. I'll try to remember to come back here and make a note of whether or not the normal dose helps me.)

I have never submitted a review for a product; however, I have been very satisfied with ADRENergize. I do not feel achy and chronically fatigued anymore. I take this supplement daily and have noticed a great improvement in my energy. Unlike caffeine or energy supplements, this does not leave you jittery or crashing after several hours.

I tried this after seeing a review under Isocort, which most people agree isn't working too well after the reformulation. The problem is that if you have adrenal problems, you don't want adrenaline. The active ingredients for this, as written on the bottle, are listed as "Adrenal Cortex Extract and Multi-Glandular Complex (liver, lung, pancreas, heart, kidney and spleen)." The multiglandular complex is the problem. Taking this feels like drinking three gas station-size cups of coffee in a row and is totally counter-productive for someone like me who's trying to heal my adrenals. I will have to throw it away.
