Better even than the first book,

This book really got to the specifics of how enzymes can help autistic children. A slow steady approach is best. I would highly recommend this to anyone that is is using the biomedical approach to address ASD. Is working well with my autistic child and my children with allergies. Great to know there's an alternative to the highly restrictive GF/CF diet.

This book has been very helpful. It gives you specific instructions in how to start taking enzymes and what they do for us. I have seen with my own granddaughter, how enzymes improved her Autism. My husband and I are improving our health with enzymes. I am telling all my friends to get this book, because I want them to find better health also.

This book is well organized, and a pleasure to read. I am 100% satisfied. It includes invaluable information on the use of enzymes for both digestive and therapeutic purposes written in an easy to understand fashion. I found it to be an excellent source of information on probiotics as well - explaining the difference between transient and resident strains and outlining what parts of the digestive tract they work with. Thank you Karen DeFelice... I love you!

Enzymes Are Fantastic!,

This review is from: Enzymes: Go With Your Gut: More Practical Guidelines For Digestive Enzymes (Paperback)
My autistic daughter first began her recovery thanks to enzymes (Houston enzymes specifically-especially Peptizide) and we would never be without them! Before enzymes she rarely slept more than a couple of hours at a time, was hyper, had many gut issues, thin hair, allergies wasn't toilet trained...the list goes on. That was 7 years ago and she is now very healthy and happy. My son(not ASD) also has food related behavioral problems that Houston enzymes have relieved and they are like a miracle for us. I am so glad Karen is making the world more aware of how food and enzymes effect us all and I hope more parents of ASD children give them a try.

I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH good about this book. Karen, you absolutely rock! A thousand thank yous for this book!!! To reflect on the fact that this woman did all this work in finding solutions for her family, replete with 24/7 migraines, is absolutely heroic, in my mind.

Favorite book for Autism,
This review is from: Enzymes: Go With Your Gut: More Practical Guidelines For Digestive Enzymes (Paperback)
I saw Karen DeFelice speak a couple of years ago. She has an amazing story about how diet transformed her son's autism. He went from a completely non-verbal 10 year old who banged his head on his bedroom floor all night long, to a college student living in his own apartment.Heart warming story with great information. After reading this book, then I would suggest watching this video: Gut and Psychology Syndrome DVD
