I first heard of The Format on the radio when they played "The First Single." I had the song stuck in my head all day, which is good. Then I came across this EP and bought it. I've never been happier. It's a great buy, and you'll love listening to it and singing along. One shot, two shots is my favorite song. But they're all so amazing. The sound is great and you'll be in love after the first note is played. I reccomend you buy it, it will not be a waste.

The first time I heard them was in concert, and I couldn't get their rythems out of my head. Their musical style if very energetic, and addicting. It's still one of my most listened to cds.

This EP will blow you away. The lyrics are perfect and are easily related to. Their sound is a unique one and a great one. You will love listening to this CD, being able to sing along with the catchy music. It's a good price, easily affordable. I suggest you definitely get this the next time you're CD shopping. Sam and Nate have now released their full length, Interventions and Lullabies, but this is their first release. Let me just say, this first Ep is just great. Every song on it is great. MY favorite, -me being a sucker for soft songs- is At the Wake, my very favorite Format song ever.. and in my opinion, one of the 50 best songs of all time. I'll keep this review short, just like the 5 song ep, but,. let me say: I got this ep when they released it, because i was a big fan of their earlier bands. I still listen to it constantly. Just Buy it. And while you're at it, get Interventions and Lullabies also. You wont regret it. - xanga.com/zeppelin191181

I first heard of this band when I saw them in concert with Rocket Summer. I really liked them, so I picked up this CD. I love it! I listen to it all the time, and can't wait for their CD to come out! I also meet one of the members, and he was great to talk to, and worth supporting! It is worth a shot on this CD, you won't regret it if you like bands like Rocket Summer, Fall Out Boy, or even Something Corporate!

I heard this band when they opened for Fall Out Boy, Reunion Show, and Ultimate Fakebook. Let me tell you, they were the best opening band I've ever seen! They're pretty unique... they have three guitarists, for instance. They blend styles very well. They've got a really nice wall of guitars sound, good lyrics, and an amazing vocalist. Go download their song "The First Single," I think it pretty much sums up their coolness.
