This review is from: Ephesus and the Temple of Diana (Paperback)
An obscure but classic work on a subject of major importance to historians of Antiquity as well as students of the New Testament. The archaeology is long since outdated, of course, but the information from classical sources is extensive and sound. Many excellent steel engravings of ruins as they existed in the 19th century. Recommended.
