Other than being able to rapid-fire toss, there's really nothing to this Paper Toss clone that makes it rival the original. Sure, there's a lot of copycat games, but this one is just barely mediocre. Paper Toss 2.0 has got it all over this one. Yaaaawn.... Ho hum. Just not worth the bother.

UPDATE - the gravity on this game is just terrible. Very crude, as are the graphics. There's no flow to the animation, and the fan that creates the wind direction doesn't even spin. It's just an icon for a fan with a numerical value. And the rapid-fire is pretty useless and actually ruins the game play, rather than enhancing it. There's no reason to aim or even have an inkling of skill. Just bombard the target with flying paper and you're bound to get something in. A clone should at least try to improve upon the original, otherwise, what's the point? Zero gravity and rapid fire isn't an improvement, it's a distraction. And the different scenic backgrounds are just mediocre.

Here's all the stuff you can do in Paper Toss 2.0 that you CAN'T do with Rapid Toss+:

Toss All This Stuff:

> Paper
> Tomatoes (like!)
> Crushed Can
> Bananas
> Flying Saucer (Frisbee)
> Watermelon (good one!)
> Super Bouncy Ball (bouncy, rebounding fun)
> Football
> Cola
> Eight Ball
> Stapler (silly!)
> Rubber Band Ball
> Burning Ball of Paper (meh!)
> Toy Airplane (double meh!)
> Grenades (best one ever!)
> Pudge Ragdoll (meh, it's ok)

You Can Also:

Blow Up the Boss, and his aquarium
Blow Up different parts of the office
The list goes on.

In short, what's the biggest difference between Paper Toss 2 and Rapid Toss+?
(drum-roll please.....

You don't even get to pick force of the shot, just flick a direction and it goes in or doesn't, no rewards, no beating a level, just zero draw other than it being free today

If you've played the free version, there's not much new here. Yes there are 3 additional boards, but its still the same throw a paper ball into a basket game. Still addicting and a great waste of time, so 3 stars it is.

wasn't open feint the dudes subject to a class action lawsuit for data theft? what ever came of that? with previous sw where I have down loaded it, it certainly behaves like malware... when I read books on my kindle, I get these annoying pop-ups even if I have the game turned off. if anyone can vouch that open feint won't pollute mu device with bloat and malfecience, then I might consider downloading this...

I'm using the app on a Kindle Fire HD 7" and I find that the TAB that opens the Kindle's Soft Key Menu (Home, Back, Collapse, Zoom, Favorites) covers up the bottom of the paper ball. (see screen capture I put in image library.)

I don't have a problem with a tiny part of the paper ball being hidden, but when I try and flick the paper ball I sometimes flick too close to the tab and the Kindle Menu open. I have to be extremely careful to flick just the top portion of the ball and not get too close to the Menu Tab. Very frustrating.

So note to programmers: The paper ball needs to be more up a 1/4 inch to get it away from the Kindle's soft key menu.

Why is there a wind speed variable on the moon? This game is clearly not well thought out and I disapprove of that.

Just to see the difference,I played both games, rapid fire and original. The differences are really just scenery and options. You can play original which is just unlimited tosses, or rapid fire which is timed. The sound effects are pretty boring, just clapping. You can't choose what you are tossing and there are no "power ups", like the other, better known, more popular alternative. This game does have Open Feint, but you do not have to be connected to the internet to play if you don't want to, so if you are not a fan of Open Feint, you don't really have to worry. In the different scenes, all that really changes is the distance to the basket, and one of the scenes is the moon where you are weightless; all that really does is make your toss go slower. You don't need to be as accurate as the alternative, so it's pretty easy. If you get frustrated easily because of accuracy, then this would be a good game for you. It is all outdoor scenery, so there are no funny comments made, either.

I would not pay for this game since the more popular alternative is free and is much more fun and more exciting. The other is available on Amazon, so those with a Kindle won't be stuck with this game if they haven't downloaded the APK for Google Play and can get it from there. (Yes, you can download the APK for that market; then you will have a lot more options and will get much quicker updates.)

Enjoying the "Paper Toss" game requires a suspension of reality. After all, when you are tossing real paper balls at a wastebasket:

A little computer prompt telling you the air speed and direction doesn't pop up, helping you to determine how to set up your shot;
You don't see trash cans dancing across the room, some of the trash cans move back and forth across the floor;
Paper doesn't spontaneously combust just because you throw your paper balls at the can in rapid-fire succession;
There aren't many oscillating fans on the moon, and even if there were, there isn't a lot of air up there to blow around;
Graffiti doesn't explode out of the trash bin, and an audience doesn't burst into applause every time you hit the target;
An audience doesn't groan in sympathy when you miss a shot, either;

On the other hand,

The snowflakes and the leaves are blown in the proper direction of the prevailing wind; and
The gravity on the Earth is greater than the gravity on the moon.

The graphics and backgrounds, as well as the differences between the levels add variety, but the game becomes too repetitive too quickly. If these unrealistic (but entertaining) details weren't included, the game would be a dud. The app is okay, since I got it for free, but I don't think it's worth tossing real money into the trash bin to own it.

Now, if only a computer would tell me which way the wind was blowing, along with the wind speed and direction in real life, I'd be able to nail the trash basket (in my home office, of course!) every time!
